Sundays are for Sharing

I thought I would start a new regular segment here, sharing with you posts I enjoyed each week from other bloggers.  I always like the random bits I read on other "link love" posts, so I thought I'd share my own.  I do post fun links daily on the And Here We Are... facebook page, so you can always check in there throughout the week, as well!

Vicarious Travels:
It was pouring rain as I sat in my dark living room, reading of Katherina's sunny sailing adventure...

I have long wanted to visit Iceland, but this photo essay of Rejkavik really sealed the deal!  I had no idea it was so colorful and had a sweet small-town feel to it.

Want to see some cool, modernisme architecture?  Liene shares about a trip to Barcelona to see some of Gaudí's fascinating work.

I like my life a whole lot, but couldn't help but wonder if I should be living in the Basque countryside right now, as Aran shared her family's trip to my version of heaven. This is a perfect spring read!

Expat Life:
It was heartening to read of another expat exploring questions about making new friends in her adopted home, and to read the responses to her pondering.

Now, here's a super inspiring piece about a family that took a huge leap of faith to live as full-time travelers! I really love their story!

Sarah shared a "day in the life" in her village of Iffley, near Oxford-- highlighting the best parts of living in the English countryside. (Adorable farm animal alert!)

Family Fun:
I loved this woodland creature birthday party idea from Tina. My daughter's birthday is coming up in June, and I have been trying to think of something fun and memorable.  I think she'd love it!

Jenny was able to take her daughter on a tour of the Harry Potter studio set in London!  I haven't read the books, but it looked like a ton of fun!

Food:
I am pretty jealous of paleo food blogger Melissa, who is in Costa Rica right now!  But she is sharing the love with some great recipes, and my favorite so far is this ceviche.  I'll definitely have to try it when the weather warms up!

Home Design:
Apartment Therapy is collecting nominations for their annual Small Cool home design contest.  Although I no longer live in a tiny house, I still love looking at the clever ways people have maximized their spaces.  My favorite this week was Julie's serene home in Paris.  I love how warm, unstaged and lived in it is, while still being calm, pretty and interesting.  A favorite idea was putting her dauther's finger painting inside an antique gilt frame.  Clever!

Well, I hope you found something interesting, inspiring, or just pleasurable to read/ look at.  I'm looking forward to another week of great reads ahead!  Care to share the best thing you read this week?

Something I love about blogging is the way that I can meet people from all over the world, and we can have conversations about life and the subjects at hand. Please introduce yourself, I would love to hear what you have to say!
